Abstract
Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of acute superior mesenteric artery embolism. Methods Among 16 patients with acute superior mesenteric artery embolism, 14 patients underwent surgical treatments, the other two had intervention simply thrombolysis and anticoagulant therapy. Results Of the 16 cases, 5 died of multiple organ failure; the other 11 cases healed; during the follow-up period, 3 patients were lost, and the rest of the patients were well recovered without recurrence. Conclusion For patients with acute superior mesenteric artery embolism reasonable application of imaging studies should be made to earn early diagnosis and timely treatment.关键词
