TiC/316L复合材料的致密化和力学性能试验
Densification and mechanical properties of TiC/316L composites
摘要
Abstract
TiC particles reinforced 316L stainless steel composites were fabricated by vacuum sintering method, and the effect of volume fraction (TIC) and moulding pressure on densification and tensile properties of composites was studied by optical micrograph analysis, density and mechanical properties measurement. The results show that the addition of TiC can improve the densification of the composite during sintering. The addition of TiC has a great effect on the tensile properties of sintered composites. As the TiC content increased from 0% to 10%, the tensile strength of the 316L stainless steel composite rose from approximately 543 MPa to 655 MPa while the fracture strain decrease from 0. 325 to 0. 052. Furthermore, the relative density, tensile strength of 316L stainless steel composites were increased with the increase of the moulding pressure, however, too high pressure result in worse plastic properties and lower tensile strength of the composites with some residual closed pore. The optimal pressure was 500 MPa and at this pressure, the sample shows its high relative density, homogeneous microstructure, uniform structure and good performance.关键词
