Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of gamma aminobutyric acid(γ-GABA) and its receptor in dorsal root ganglion(DRG) of rats with neuropathic pain and to explore its significance.Methods The rat model with chronic neuropathic pain were prepared in 20 SD rats by L5 DRG ligation( SNL group).The expression of γ-GABA and its receptor GABAAα1 in DRG were determined with SABC method,and another 10 rats were selected as sham operation group.Results Compared with sham operation group,the expression levels of γ-GABA and its receptor GABAAα1 in DRG were both significantly decreased( P ＜ 0.05 ) in SNL group.Conclusion The decrease of GABA neuron and down regulation of GABAA receptors could induce the decrease of GABA signal transmission,which may play an important role in the development of neuropathic pain.关键词
