中国水资源利用效率区域差异及影响因素研究
China's Regional Difference of Water Resource Use Efficiency and Influencing Factors

Abstract
Scientific evaluation of Chinese regional differences of water use efficiency and its influencing factors is a concerned problem. Under the total factor production framework, this paper employs the Input-Orientated Data Envelopment Model to compute the provincial water resource use efficiency in 1998 -2008. The DEA model uses water usage, capital resource and labor as inputs and GDP as output. It is found that on the national level, water use efficiency show a tendency of first decrease, then increase, and again a marked decrease in 2008. In space, a significant different pattern can be recognized among the East Middle West region of China.The East region has the highest efficiency with an average level of 0.8, followed by the Middle region with an average level of 0.6, and the lowest level of efficiency is found in the West, with an average of 0.4. Tobit regression results suggest that industrial structure,import and export, as well as regional water resource endowment have significant effects on regional water use efficiency.关键词
