Effects of Sweet Potato Extract on Promoting PC12 and SK-NSH Cells Proliferation and Neurite Outgrowth in Vitro
摘要
Abstract
An investigation was made on observe the effect of sweet potato extract on promoting PC12 and SK-N-SH cells proliferation and neurite outgrowth.Using PC12 and SK-N-SH cells cultured in vitro,as detecting the living rates of PC12 and SK-N-SH cells by MTT and calculating positive cell rate of which length of neurite exceeding 2 times of the neural body or the number of neurite exceeding 3, to evaluate the promoting effect of sweet potato on PC12 and SK-N-SH cells proliferation and neurite outgrowth.The results showed that sweet potato extract is able to promote PC12 and SK-N-SH cells neurite outgrowth and to increase the number of positive cells, has a certain neurotrophic effect and it is a good neuroprotective agent.关键词
