Abstract
Although orthodontic treatment brings some harmful effects, the therapeutic effect is affirmative. The adverse effect of orthodontic treatment on periodontal tissues is one of the problems which often baffles clinicians.Many factors can influence periodontal conditions, such as orthodontic force, orthodontic attachments and oral hygiene. This article is to review the total reference of malocclusion and orthodontic treatment with periodontal disease, and the effects of orthodontic treatment on gingival hyperplasia, gingival recession, loss of adhesion, root resorption and to contribute to clinical work.关键词
