摘要

Abstract

Latest achievements of material developments and thermal-magneto-mechanical properties of Ferromagnetic Shape Memory Alloy (FSMA) are reviewed. The problems and challenges to FSMA material and properties are analyzed and some promising research subjects are pointed out. The material developments including new FSMA, Ni-Mn-Ga-X series alloys, composite materials and Ni2MnGa series alloys, along with the thermal-magneto-mechanical properties including shape memory effect, stress-strain beha-vior and magnetic shape memory effect, are introduced in detail. Then the research status and disadvantages are summarized. Considering the characteristics of FSMA and the application requirements, the problems such as new FSMA, processability, connection property and thermal-magneto-mechanical properties under complex loads should be further studied.
