Abstract
MM To investigate the use of hypoglycemic drugs in the psychotic inpatients with diabetes mellitus and its rationality in Beijing Ankang hospital. METHODS The data were collected on the use of hypoglycemic drugs of 354 inpatients in hospital from November 1, 2009 to October 31, 2010 by HIS(hospital information system). The drug utilization index(DUI) regulated by WHO was used as evaluation index to analyze the rationality of the use of hypoglycemic drugs. RESULTS The DUI of pioglitazone, acarbose and glibenclamide was all below 1, and the DUI of Xiaoke pill was equal to 1,while the DUI of gliguidone, meffonnin hydrochloride and insulin was over I. Combination of medication fulfilled the clinical requirements. CONCLUSION The use of hypoglycemic drugs in Beijing Ankang hospital is reasonable. But the rationality of using insulin should be more empathized.关键词
