Methods for inoculation and inducing sporogenesis of Phytophthora parasitica var.nicotianae by soil suspension from tobacco rhizosphere

摘要

Abstract

The sporogenic condition of Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae and methods for inocultion were studied. Results showed that suspensions of peat and fertile soil can stimulate production of zoospore and zoosporagium in Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae. The maximum zoosporangium yields were 1.43 × 104CFU in 40 μL peat suspension and 1.06 ×104CFU, in 60μL soil suspension, respectively. The maximum zoospore yields were obtained in both 40 μL peat suspension and 40 μL soil suspension with 3.12 × 106CFU and 2.30 × 106CFU respectively. Method of inoculation was also studied and results showed that the efficiency of injection vaccination on basal stem was better than irrigating root.
