摘要

Abstract

The isothermal forging process of MB26 magnesium alloy was studied by one type of DEFORM-3D element analytical software. The results show visually the distribution of the stress,the trend of metal flow and the forming effect. The cause of typical forming defects, such as folding was found out. According to numerical analysis.the proper blank dimensions, die structure and process parameters were achieved. The fonning defects were eliminated.
