摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of ulinastatin preconditioning on remote lung injury in rats of lower limb ischemia reperfusion.Methods Forty eight male Sprague- Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into three groups: sham operation group, ischemia and reperfusion (I/R) group and ulinastatin preconditioning group.The animals were anesthetized and the tissue of lung were removed at the end of reperfusion, wet to dry weight ratio (W/D) of lung tissue was measured at the end of study, the expression of heme oxygenase- 1 (HO- 1) was determined by immunohistochemical staining and western blotting.Results HO- 1 was induced and persistently over- expressed in 2h and 4h after ulinastatin preconditioning (P<0.01), and the expression of HO- 1 at 4h was higher than that at 2h (P<0.05).The W/D ratio was diminished in ulinastatin group compared to I/R group (P<0.05), there was no difference between ulinastatin group and sham group.Conclusion Ulinastatin preconditioning attenuated remote lung injury in rats of lower limb ischemia /reperfusion, which may be associated with the induction of heme oxygenase- 1 in the lung tissue.
