Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of early systemic rehabilitation on functional recovery of patients undergoing totalhip arthroplasty (THA). Methods Sixty patients undergoing THA were randomized into rehabilitation group and control group with 30 cases in each. Patients in rehabilitation group received systemic rehabilitation training in the early postoperative time;while patients in control group did not. Scores of Harris and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) were assessed before, 8 and 12 weeks after operation. Results The scores of Harris and ADL before operation were not different between the two groups (P＞0.05). At 8 and 12 weeks postoperatively, the Harris and ADL scores of patients in rehabilitation group were higher than those of the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion Early systemic rehabilitation training after totalhip arthroplasty can facilitate the functional recovery of patients.关键词
