Abstract
Using polyalkylenecarbonate diol (PCDL) and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) as the prepolymers and 3, 3′-dichloro-4, 4′-diaminodiphenylmethane (MOCA) as the vulcanizing agent, a series of polyurethaneurea (PUU) elastomers with different hard-segment contents were prepared through a two-step approach. Structures of products were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, and the mechanical properties and water resistance of PUU films were also determined. From the results, it can be concluded that with increasing the hard-segment content, tensile strength first increases, then decreases and increases again at last, meanwhile, water absorption appears to have a contrary trend. There is a dividing point at the hard-segment content of 47%.关键词
