Study on aluminum tolerance of broadbeans by FTIR spectra

摘要

Abstract

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) spectra of roots, stems, leaves of Yunnan broadbeans (Vicia faba L. ) 83324 and 8363 were studied through kBr pellet method,which were treated by different concentrations of aluminum. Results showed that lower concentration of aluminum can make the characteristic peaks (3 375, 2 928, 1 645, 1 428, 1 245, 1 060 cm-1) of broadbean 8363 descended, which indicated that the aluminum resistance of broadbean 8363 was lower than that of broadbean 83324. Also, this experiment provided references and methods for studying the aluminum tolerance mechanism of Brodbeans. Moreover, root elongation experiment and chrome azurol dyeing experiment showed that aluminum can poison broadbean 8363 more easily,which verified the results of FT1R. All results indicated that FTIR might be a new, rapid and accurate method in investigating the difference of aluminum tolerance among different kinds of broadbeans.
