Abstract
The algorithm of G2 blending NURBS surfaces based on adjustable parameters is realized. Firstly,before creating blending NURBS surface, parameters of two basic surfaces should be conformed by choosing blending function and thumb weight parameter which are fit for the parameterization of surfaces. Secondly, interpolation points on the blending surfaces should be calculated. Finally, referenced on the interpolation points and based on the continuous geometric properties of G2 ,the internal control points of the blending surfaces are revised. The algorithm can be used in all kinds of surfaces. In this way,the computing process of the blending surfaces is simplified. And by adjusting balance factor and thumb weight parameter,surfaces with different curvature could be obtained if G2 is continuous.关键词
