Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the status quo of the utilization of mineral drugs in Jiangsu province and to put forward the suggestions on the scientific utilization of mineral drugs. METHODS: Self-designed questionnaire was adopted to investigate the utilization of mineral drugs in pharmacy department of 20 TCM hospitals. The chemical component, amount, name, source,types and treatment scope of mineral drugs were analyzed statistically. RESULTS: 43 mineral drugs were used in Jiangsu province and 27 of them were embodied in Chinese Pharmacopoeia including 3 mineral drugs which had almost no used, Micae Lapis Auraus, Realgar, Calomelas. But several mineral drugs which were commonly used, sternum, dens draconis, actinolite, hadn't been involved in it. Moreover, there were some problems during the use of mineral drugs, such as taking no account of producing area,the mixing of crude drugs and processed drugs. CONCLUSION: It is necessary to study on material base, processing technology and mechanism of mineral drugs, establish the quality standard and the certification of quality system of mineral drugs to fully utilize mineral resource.关键词
