摘要

Abstract

If the resonant frequency of series compensated network and the natural frequency of turbine - generator shaft complement each other, it may result in subsynchronous resonance (SSR). This paper discusses the mechanism of SSR caused by series capacitor. The basic principle and control strategy of static var compensator (SVC) used to suppress SSR is analyzed. A multi - channel subsynchronous Resonance Damping controller is proposed. The effect of SSR suppressed by SVC is verified based on MATLAB / SIMULINK.
