Effects of valsartan on the plasma CRP, ET-1 and NO levels in pulmonary hypertensive rat models induced by monocrotaline
摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the changes of c-reactive protein (CRP), endothlin (ET) and nitric oxide (NO)in pulmonary hypertensive rats induced by monocrotaline after valsartan interventions. Methods The healthy Wistar rats were injected with 60 mg/kg of monocrotaline, after 4 weeks, the models were reproduced. The intervention group was treated with 20 mg/( kg · d) of valsartan intragastrically for 4 weeks. The parameters of pulmonary hemodynamics were monitored, the levels of CRP, ET-1 and NO were detected. Result The levels of the mean pulmonary arterial pressure, CRP,ET-1 were declined and the level of NO was increased after valsartan interventions (P < 0.05 ). Conclusion Valsartan can decrease the mPAP and ameliorate the levels of CRP, ET-l/NO in pulmonary hypertensive rats, the mechanism maybe related with its effects of protecting endothelial cells.关键词
