Abstract
Objective To explore the quality of life of Patients with chronic eczema ( CE ) and its influencing factors.Methods Totally 200 patients presenting in our hospital from August 2009 to August 2010 and being diagnosed clinically with CE were recruited as the trial group, and 100 healthy people who concurrently took physical examination were enrolled as the controls.Dermatology Life Quality Index ( DLQI ) and World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment Instrument - Brief ( WHOQOL- BREF ) were used to evaluate the quality of life.Multiple regression analysis was used to search the risk factors influencing the quality of life.Results ( 1 ) The total mean DLQI score ( 14.56 ± 5.43 ) in the trial group was higher than that (0.13 ±0.05) of the control group ( P＜0.01 ), and so were the factional scores of symptom, emotion, social communication, and treatment ( P ＜0.01 ).(2) The statistical differences were also found between the two groups in general feeling score, as well as the 4 factional scores of physiology, psychology, society and surroundings of WHOQOL - BREF ( P ＜ 0.01 ).(3) The multiple regression analysis revealed that the influencing factors of DLQI total score were condition of illness, education background and economic condition; and the influencing factors of WHOQOL - BREF score were the condition of illness and education background.Conclusion The patients with CE are worse quality of life; and the condition of illness, education background and economic condition are the common risk factors.关键词
