摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the performance of aluminum anodes and lower hydrogen corrosion, the effect of a variety of additives on the aluminum anode electrochemical performance was studied by using the hydrogen evolution rate, open circuit voltage test and the Tafel curves, AC impedance method. The results show that the aluminum anode exhibits high open circuit potential and good corrosion-inhibition when additives KCl, MnCl2,K2MnO4, Na2WO3 and NH2CH2COOH are added into 6 mol/L KOH, respectively. Combined additives K2MnO4 + KCl and ZnO + KCl play an important role in the aluminum anode activation and inhibition of hydrogen evolution.
