Intellectual Property Protection and Strategies to Enhance International Competitiveness of China Seed Industry
摘要
Abstract
By virtue of the advantages of technology and capital, multinational seed enterprises continue to strengthen the leading position of technology which has the competitive advantages in international trade, who suppress the China seed industry through employing the approaches of intellectual property and gene patent.This paper analyses the major problems which exist in the intellectual property innovation in China seed industry, including weak innovative capability of China seed enterprises, narrow genetic basis of cultivars, separation of industries, universities and research institutes.A series of strategies which can enhance the international competition of China seed industry are put forward by this paper,such as to cultivate large scale seed industry group, make the most of “Technology Spillover Effect ”, build and improve the innovation mechanisms which are focused on the cooperation of industries, universities and research institutes by the requirements of enterprises, etc.关键词
