Abstract

In water-drive gas reservoir, geological reserves and water influx are important parameters for development scale determination and development design. Because of the complication of natural fractured water-drive gas reservoir, the accurate calculation of the above mentioned parameters is significant for dynamic prediction of gas reservoir. On the basis of the matrix in natural fractured gas reservoir and effective compressibility, the material balance equation for natural fractured water drive gas reservoir is derived. Through analyzing the equation, production index curve is drawn so that geological reserves of natural fractured water-drive gas reservoir are obtained, and then the water influx is calculated with difference method. Practicality is analyzed through cases. Compared to regular methods, the new calculation method is simple and meets the resolution requirement.
