Screening of Proteins Interacting with PRSV CI in Carica papaya
摘要
Abstract
The cylindrical inclusion (CI) protein of Papaya ringspot vims(PRSV)is the key protein which is invovlved in virus replication and cell-to-cell movement. Using PRSV CI as the bait, one protein from a papaya plants cDNA library was identified by a Sos-Recruitment system. Sequence alignment analysis revealed that this host protein was highly homology to Elongation factor Tu(EF-Tu)from different plant species. The possible roles of this host protein in PRSV infection and host defense were discussed, which provided some new clues in elucidating the molecular mechanisms of PRSV infection and host defense.关键词
