水稻三系不育系玉丰A的选育与应用
Breeding and application of indica rice CMS line Yufeng A
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]The present study was conducted to breed high-combining ability male sterile lines for providing the intermediate breeding materials with high-yield and high-combining ability to cross with hybrid rice. [Method]Rice material Bo A was test crossed with the maintainer line derived from F10 plants of hybrid Bo B and Jin B, and the obtained testcross material was successively backcrossed for 7-generations to breed the thermo-sensitive indica rice CMS line.[Result]After four years of seven generations of backcross and selection of testcross material, the CMS sterile line Yufeng A was bred, and the combined hybrids with Yufeng A showed characteristics of higher yield, stronger resistance and moderate maturity period, etc. [Conclusion]Yufeng A has complete pollen abortion and stable fertility with 100％ of sterility rate in plants and pollens. It was characterized with desirable agronomic and economical characters such as good plant type, high outcrossing rate, fine flowering habit and high combining ability, etc. Yufeng A was registered and certified by the Guangxi Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in Octorber, 2010.关键词
