Abstract
Objective To summarize the clinical experience of the causes and management of common complications of ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Methods 286 cases of ureteral calculi from Jul 2005 to May 2010 in our hospital were reported. All thepatients had hydronephrosis. Results The overall comminution rate was 86. 71％ ( 248/286) . 18 cases were followed by ESWL due to the shift of the stones to the renal pelvis. Operation failed in 8 cases , and 12 cases complicated with ureter injury , among which 3 cases had urethral submucosa pesudocanal,3 cases had perforation,2 cases had rupture and 1case had ureteral evulsion, cases had perirenal hematoma. All recovered after placement of ureteral stents. Severe infection found in 1 case . Conclusion Ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy is an effective method for treating ureteral calculi, with advantage of high efficacy, safety , minimal invasion and simplicity of performance. To raise operating technique could reduce complications and raise success ratio.关键词
