摘要

Abstract

In order to optimize the impedance bandwidth of ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna, a kind of improved barbellshape UWB antenna is proposed. The impedance matching of UWB is improved by adding the stepped appearance gaps and adopting thepartial ground plane. The measured results shows that input impedance bandwidth of the improved antenna is up to 74. 7 % ( 3. 45~ 7. 56 GHz). The symmetrical distribution in the y-z and x-z planes of radiation patterns are obtained by numerical simulation.
