摘要

Abstract

Through analyzing the recarburizing mechanism and combining with the typical melting law and chemical composition fluctuation during cupola melting, a new type of carburetant was developed specially used for cupola melting.The application of carburetant can decrease the usage of pig iron, and consequently improve the iron melt quality.Experimental result indicates that the appropriative carburetant can adapt to the complicated environment of cupola melting, and has good recarburizing effect.Castings after recarburization have better metallographic structure and mechanical properties, which completely complies with the technological requirement.
