Abstract
PRF varied method of improving the accuracy of frequency estimation is adopted to resolve the problem of velocity ambiguity of low repetition rate pulse Doppler radar. However, the PRF varied method in engineering applications exists a channel quantization error. In order to reduce channel quantization error, a new approach to improve the estimation accuracy is proposed. The accumulated data in the range bin where target exists is inversely transformed to be raw data, and then zero-pad FFT is performed. On this basis, the quadratic function fitting is conducted. It effectively combines the advantages between zero-padding FFT and quadratic function fitting, and makes up for their shortcomings. Simulation results show that the method can reduce the channel quantization error in the case of little computation.关键词
