Preliminary Discussions on the Sludge Treatment and Disposal Technology in Urban Municipal Sewage Treatment Plants in Beijing

Abstract
According to the chemical compositions of sludge from urban waste water treatment plants in Beijing, combining the domestic and international experience of sludge treatment and disposal, this paper analyzed situations, problems and development trends in terms of sludge treatment and disposal, discussed sludge treatment and disposal technologies, introduced technical route of sludge treatment and disposal in urban wastewater treatment plants in Beijing. The preliminary discussions were carried out in terms of sludge land application, sludge composting and sludge drying and incineration. Lastly, recommendations for the future were proposed in the paper.关键词
