Abstract
Objective To explore protective effects of Weitean on gastric mucosal lesions induced by aspirin in rats and the contents of GSH, SOD and MDA. Methods Thirty Sprague - Dawley rats were divided into model group , therapy group and control group. Model group was treated with aspirin ( 10.41 mg/kg qd ), therapy group was treated with aspirin ( 10.41 mg/kg qd ) and Weitean ( 200 mg/kg tid ), and control group physiological saline. Contents of GSH, SOD and MDA were detected 4 weeks later, when gastric mucosal lesions were evaluated by Gutt and Whittle methods respectively. Results Compared with the control group, Guth scores and Whittle scores of the model group were higher than those of the control group ( P ＜ 0.05 ) . The content of GSH decreased and the content of MDA increased significantly in the model group in comparison with the control control ( P＜0.05 ) . Guth and Whittle scores of the therapy group were lower than those of the model group ( P ＜ 0.05 ) . Content of GSH increased and content of MDA decreased significantly in the therapy group in comparison with the model group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).SOD content among the three groups showed no significant differences ( P ＞ 0.05 ) . Conclusion Low dose of aspirin may cause gastric mucosal damage which can be counteracted by Weitean.关键词
