Analysis of Model of Moving Target Detection and Precision of Parameter Estimation Based on FRFT

Abstract
ln this paper, weak moving target detection is solved by fractional Fourier transform ( FRFT) method. Firstly, different detection models of moving target are set up respectively according to different types of radar transmission signal and moving states.Parameter estimation methuds are given in accordance with different detection models, which can he approximately represented as LFM signals with unknown frequency and unknown frequency modulated rate. Then, factors related with estimation precision such as observed time, search step, sampling frequency and signal-to-noise ratio ( SNR) are analyzed. Methods which can improve estimation precision are put forward in view of practical application. In the end, effects of different factors upon estimation precision are studied and simulated. Simulation results present that estimation precision can be remarkably improved with extra observed time and proper search step. Moving target can be detected in low SNR ( SNR = - 8 dB) environment with high detection probabiliiy (Pd =0. 9) , which indicates the correctness of theoretical analysis.关键词
