Farmland Ecosystem Net Carbon Uptake in China: Movement of Center of Gravity and the Determining Factors

Abstract
To better understand the regional differences of farmland ecosystem net carbon uptake and the reasons for these differences in China, this paper used the center of gravity model and explored the movement of center of gravity of farmland ecosystem net carbon uptake, applied the C-D production function and analyzed the determining factors that affect the movement of center of gravity of farmland ecosystem net carbon uptake, calculated the contribution of different factors to farmland ecosystem net carbon uptake in different regions of China, and finally put forward corresponding policy recommendations.Results indicate that ①The longitude coordinates of the center of gravity of net carbon uptake decreased rapidly, while the latitude coordinates showed an overall fluctuating upward tendency.In terms of geographical location, the center of gravity of net carbon uptake showed a trend of moving towards northwest.In terms of the proportion of total net net carbon uptake, Southeast China declined the most, while Mongolia-Xinjiang Regions increased the most.Southwest China has gradually become a major contributor to the national net net carbon uptake.②For conventional inputs, land was the primary factor affecting the movement of center of gravity of farmland ecosystem net carbon uptake,and capital inputs ( including fertilizer and labor) were also important factors.For the control variables, the planting structure was the main influencing factor, and the use rights and income rights variables were significant but had little effect.③The determining factors played different roles in different regions in terms of their contributions to farmland ecosystem net carbon uptake.The main contributing factors were land, fertilizer and the planting structure.关键词
