Abstract
Objective To discover the distribution pattern of nature-flavor, clinical effects and pharmacological action of lung tropism herbs for explaining the scientific connotation of meridian tropism theory of Chinese medicine.Methods The information of nature-flavor, clinical effects and pharmacological action of lung tropism herbs was collected by documents retrieve, standardized and frequency analysis.Results One hundred and twenty-nine lung tropism herbs were studied.A total of 49.6％ of the herbs express cold nature.Bitter, sweet and hot were most common flavors.Most of the herbs can relieve cough and asthma, eliminate phlegm, relieve exterior syndrome on clinic.The main treatment locations were lung, skin,throat and nose.Most of these herbs have antibiosis, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effect.Conclusion Cold nature, effects of relieving cough and asthma, eliminating phlegm, and pharmacological action of antibiosis,anti-flammatory, anti-tumor, etc.may have close relationship with the effect of lung tropism herbs.关键词
