摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of nateglinide on plasma glucose and lipid profiles in patients with newly-diagnosed type 2 diabetes. Method: 52 newly-diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients were treated by nateglinide. Fasting blood glucose(FBG), 2 hours postprandial blood glucose(2hPG), HbAlc,total choleterol(CHOL ), triglycerides ( TG ), high - density lipoprotein (HDL) and low- density lipoprotein (LDL) were measured before and after 16 weeks treatment. Result: After treatment, FBG, 2hPG, HbAlc were significantly lower than those before treatment( P＜0.001 ). CHOL, LDL and LDL/HDL were also significantly lower than those before treatment ( P＜0.05,). No differences in TG and HDL were detected between before and after treatment ( P ＞0.05 ). Conclusion: Nateglinide could significantly decrease plasma glucose and HbAlc. It also could decrease CHOL, LDL and LDL/HDL, It is an effective and safe medicine.关键词
