Experimental Study on Effect of Oxygen Content in Gas on the Performance of Pulsed Detonation Engine
摘要
Abstract
To study the effect of oxygen content in gas on the performance of pulsed detonation engine,the experiment was carried out aiming at different oxygen content in the compressed gas as oxidizer. The experimental results show that the oxygen content in compressed gas has an obvious influence on the detonation wave pressure. While increasing the oxygen content in the compressed gas, the process of transition to detonation can be significantly enhanced. As oxygen content increases,the peak pressure of detonation rises, and the stable detonation forms in the detonation tube. The gas charging process can be simplified by using the mixture of oxygen and nitrogen as oxidant. The result has an important value for increasing the frequency of pulsed detonation engine.关键词
