Study on Right Ventricular Function of the Patients with Rheumatic Mitral Stenosis and Pulmonary Hypertension by Tei Index
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of Tei index in evaluating right ventricular function of patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis. Methods Twenty nine patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis and pulmonary hypertension and 33 controls were selected. The Tei indexes of right ventricular were measured by tissue Doppler imaging. The pulmonary arterial systolic pressures of patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis were calculated by the tricuspid regurgitation velocity.Results The Tei index of the right ventricular in patients group was higher than that in the control group,and correlated with pulmonary artery systolic pressure positively( P＜0. 05 ). Compared with the preoperative results,the Tei index of right ventricular and pulmonary artery pressure in patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis that received the percutaneous mitral balloon valvuloplasty( PBMV ) after one or two days decreased significantly( P＜0. 05 ). Conclusion The right ventricular function of the patients with theumatic mitral stenosis and pulmonary hypertension decreases in different degree. The pulmonary artery pressure cutt down and the right ventricular function improves significantly after successful PBMV.The right ventricular Tei index which is measured by tissue Doppler imaging is convenient and exact,it can be used to estimate the right ventricular global function comprehensively and exactly.关键词
