Abstract
In order to study the effects of the space between drive-coils on the muzzle velocity of projectile in synchronous induction coilgun(SICG), mathematic models of $ICG were built, and the system of three-stage synchronous induction coilgun was simulated. Under the conditions of different space between drive-coils, the thrust of 3-stage drive-coils acting on projectile and the muzzle velocity of projectile were obtained. Research results show that the muzzle velocity of projectile decreases at first and gradually increases later with the increase of the space between drive-coils. When the space between drive-coils reaches a certain value, the growth rate of the muzzle velocity of projectile gradually decreases and levels off at last.关键词
