Abstract
An add-on gas chamber technique for depressing load over cover system of underwaterlaunched missile was brought forward. Using 2-D axisymmetric model based on dynamic meshing technology and VOF model without phase transformation, the effects of volume and interface length of add-on gas chamber on load characteristics over cover system were modeled and simulated. According to different volume of add-on gas chamber and different interface length, four binds of working conditions were chosen. The results of different working conditions were compared and analyzed. Using this load-depressing technique,load characteristic over the cover is reduced obviously. The peak of negative pressure can depress load only when the volume of addon gas chamber is big enough and the interface is long enough. The bigger the volume of add-on gas chamber and the longer the interface, the more obvious the effect of depressing load over cover system. The result offers reference for depressing load over cover system.关键词
