Abstract
Objective: To observe the effects of electro-acupuncture on pathologic change and ultrastructure of the tissues of perihematoma in intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) rats. Methods : Thirty-two SD rats were randomly divided into three groups: normal group (n = 10), model group (n= 12) and electroacupuncture group (n= 10). The intracerebral hemorrhage model was established and electro-acupuncture was started after 12h. The pathologic change and ultrastructure were observed under the light microscope and the electronic microscope after molding and treatment. Results: The tissues of the normal groups were almost normal. The tissues of the model groups were severely damaged after 12h while the tissues of the electroacupuncture groups were effectively improved. Conclusion: The recovery of the secondary injury of the perihematoma after ICH is promoted when electro-acupuncture is administered at early stage. The electroacupuncture may have the maximal protective and rehabilitative effects on intracerebral hemorrhage rats.关键词
