Abstract
As a new phenomenon in the vocabulary system of modern Chinese language, the letter words in modem Chinese language has been paying more and more attention by scholars. The propagation paths and prevalent reasons of letter words in modern Chinese language are accounted, by using the Memetics theory which is recently introduced into China. It is considered that the letter words in modern Chinese language has enriched the vocabulary system of Chinese language, and blended in it, in the furore, the letter words in modern Chinese language would have a certain extent development.关键词
