摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the efficiency of ultra-wideband systems (UWB), the model of a newly proposed UWB communication system based on a parallel combinatory spread spectrum (PCSS-UWB) was given in this study; moreover, the bit error rate (BER) formula of the newly proposed system was derived by multiple pulse position modulation ( M-PPM), under the background of additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). According to the simulation,the proposed system performs better than the traditional UWB system. The proposed system also increases security since its signal is hard-detected both in time and frequency domains.
