Abstract
Objective To explore the occurrence, types, interactions, and prognostic impact of complications in patients with multiple sclerosis.Methods Clinical data of 254 cases of clinically diagnosed MS patients were analyzed retrospectively to summarize the occurrence, treatment, and outcomes of MS complications.Results Of the 254 MS cases, 72 showed one or more complications, of which 7 were complicated with hypersensitivity diseases, 33 with autoimmune diseases, 4 with parasitic infections, 15 with immune dysfunction diseases.All MS patients with complications showed higher neurological deficit scores than those without complications at admission and discharge, with significant differences ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion Complications in MS patients involve hypersensitivity, autoimmune, and other immunosuppressive diseases.It is of great importance to fully understand complications among MS patients.关键词
