Study on the relationships among pH, dissolved oxygen and chlorophyll a I :Aquaculture water

Abstract
Domestic and foreign data in nearly two decades and our field enclosure experimental results in Panjiakou Reservoir were collected to analyze the relationships among pH, dissolved oxygen (DO) and chlorophyll a in aquaculture water. The result showed that when the mean concentration of chlorophyll a was less than 10μg/L, no obvious correlation or no correlation was found between pH, DO and chlorophyll a in weak-exchangeable aquaculture water during summer and autumn. In comparison, a significant positive correlation between pH and chlorophyll a, and a significant positive correlation or no correlation between DO and chlorophyll a were found in strong-exchangeable aquaculture water during summer and autumn. In field enclosure experiments,when the average concentration of chlorophyll a was less than 90μg/L during summer and autumn, no correlation was found between pH and chlorophyll a, and no obvious correlation or even no correlation between DO and chlorophyll a was found. Strong diurnal variations for both pH and DO were identified in field enclosures and aquaculture water. A significant positive linear correlation between pH and DO was found in field enclosures.关键词
