摘要

Abstract

Monodisperse polystyrene ( PS ) microspheres with different sizes, 2. 05 - 9. 03 μm, were prepared through dispersion polymerization. The effect of monomer concentration, solution polarity,initiator dosage and stabilizer dosage on the particle size and size distribution of the PS microspheres were studied. Under the appropriate conditions of mass fraction of styrene (St) monomer 28% - 37%,disperse medium(ethanol-water) polarity 4. 5 -5. 2,mass ratio of initiator azodiisobutyronitrile to St 0.03 -0. 05, mass ratio of stabilizer polyvinylpyrrolidone to St 0. 3 - 0. 8, reaction time 24 h and temperature 75 ℃, the PS microspheres with good monodispersion, low dispersion coefficient ( less than 0. 05 ) and large particle size could be prepared.
