摘要

Abstract

The influence of the binder on adsorption equilibrium of n-paraffins on 5A molecular sieves was investigated by the vacuum gravimetric method.Compared with binderless sample,5A molecular sieves with the binder showed low adsorption capacities, large correlation factors of characteristic curves and low heats of adsorption for n-paraffins.According to the results of the adsorption capacity comparison and SEM analysis, the influence of the binder on the adsorption capacities of n-paraffins on the 5A molecular sieves with the binder could be ascribed to the dilution and blocking of the pores on the molecular sieve crystal.The binder changes the polar interaction between the adsorbate molecules and the adsorption sites, so the adsorption characteristic curves are affected.The decrease of the heat of adsorption is mainly due to the adsorption of some adsorbate molecules on the binder.
