Abstract
Objective To assess the degree of compliance with domestic and international guidelines for community acquired pneumonia (CAP) by analyzing the treatment of hospitalized non-severe CAP patients. Methods A total of 429 hospitalized patients with non-severe CAP was enrolled. A retrospective analysis of admission and antibiotics use was undertaken. Results According to Chinese CAP guidelines and pneumonia severity index (PSI),the admission criteria were met and antibiotics was used in compliance with the guidelines in 65.26％and 66.20％ of the 429 CAP cases,respectively. The difference between the poor compliance group and good compliance group in clinical treatment outcome was not statistically significant (P ＞ 0.05). Conclusion The admission criteria were met and guidelines for antibiotics use was complied with in most cases of the 429 hospitalized CAP patients according to the Chinese CAP guidelines and PSI risk classification.关键词
