Abstract
Objective To detect the expression levels of growth-related oncogene alpha (GROα) and chemokine like factor-2 (CKLF-2) protein in colorectal cancer, and evaluate the possible mechanism of CROα and CKLF-2 in the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer.Methods Twenty tissues from patients with colorectal cancer (colorectal cancer group) and their adjant normal colorectal mucous membrane (control group) were obtained .The expression levels of GROα and CKLF-2 protein in tissue of both group were detected by immunohistochemical staining.Results The expression levels of GROα in colorectal cancer group were significantly higher than those in control group (P ＜ 0.01).However, the expression levels of CKLF-2 protein in colorectal cancer group were significantly lower than those in control group (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Increased expression levels of GROα in colorectal cancers shows that it may promote the development of colorectal cancer.But the decreased expression levels of CKLF-2 protein in colorectal cancers significantly shows that it may depress the development of colorectal cancer.关键词
