摘要
Abstract
Objective Doppler ultrasonography results of atherosclerotic plaques of carotid artery and lower extremity arteries were analyzed in patients with type 2 diabetes to get an idea of diabetic vascular complications in these patients so as to provide more effective treatment.Methods A total of 103 patients with type 2 diabetes were enrolled with the characteristics and related factors of the atherosclerotic plaques in carotid artery and lower extremity arteries analyzed.Results Degrees of atherosclerotic plaques ( carotid artery/lower extremity arteries/ carotid artery + lower extremity arteries: 3/2/6 ) were correlated with disease course and age ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Differences in blood glucose levels, blood lipids levels, and incidence rate of hypertension among patients of different disease course showed no statistical significance ( P ＞0.05 ).Conclusion Control of risk factors and monitoring of vascular ultrasound, as well as blood lipids and blood glucose in the early stages might help to reduce the incidence rate of complications in type 2 diabetes and delay the onset of cerebral infarctions, coronary heart disease and diabetes foot.关键词
