摘要

Abstract

The internal quality of melon (Cucumis melo L. ) determines its marketability, so nondestructive testing method for its internal quality is of great importance in production and circulation. Three nondestructive testing methods including acoustics technology, electrical and magnetic technology, and near infrared spectroscopy to assess melon quality are reviewed. Their principles, advanteges, shortcomins and research progress made on them are also expounded in this paper. Future research orientations are pointed out before ending.
