Role and therapeutic potential of oxytocin in autistic patients'social impairments(Review)
摘要
Abstract
Autism is a pervasive neurodevelopmental disorders with an unexplained etiology, and absence of effective therapentic mean. As a characteristic symptom of autism, social impairments seriously affect the patients' health and life. It was shown that oxytocin plays an important role in social interaction, and the lack or underutilization of oxytocin may be associated with the social impairments of autism patients. In this paper, We summarrized recent studies on oxytocin and social impairments in autism, and proposed the possibilities of oxytocin for the clinical treatment of autism, hoping that it would be helpful for the research and treatment of autism.关键词
